Alex advises clients on all aspects of investor relations strategy and programming, including effective message development, institutional targeting and marketing, and IR program planning and execution. He has experience supporting U.S. and international companies across a wide range of special situations, including transactions, shareholder activism, crises and ongoing public and investor relations.

Alex joined Gateway in 2021. Previously, he worked at Joele Frank, a leading independently-owned financial public relations and investor relations firm in New York City. During his tenure at Joele Frank, Alex helped clients successfully navigate significant corporate events including friendly and unsolicited M&A, shareholder activism defense and proxy contests, bankruptcies and restructurings, IPOs and other capital markets events. He held prior roles at Brunswick Group and ICR, respectively.

Alex received a BA from Miami University. In his spare time, he’s an avid reader, outdoor enthusiast, pianist, and sports fan.
